This was my first trip to Europe with Jane. We just bought a house two days before, and left for Europe for the summer. This was just before we moved into the house on E. 294th st. in Willowick. We were in Europe for 3 months, met Peggy and Dennis and the four of us traveled the entire summer. We had a book "Europe on $5.00 (yes FIVE dollars) a day. We did not do it for $5.00 but did the entire trip, with car rental and food gas everything for two for $ 1800.00. and that included airfare. If you think you spend a lot on travel, just look back someday and you will realize you cannot replace the memories. - Never could do Europe on $5.00 a day, even then. but if you look at the rest of my pictures, you will see that I have traveled my entire life. If you thinking about travel don't wait, just go.
These pics were made from old slide that were going bad, sorry for the quality but the memories are precious and it's great to revisit.
